This multiuse trail network offers something for everyone. It starts with a 1.9 mi. paved path that connects Ben Geren Park to the River Valley Nature Center. There are several trails intersecting the pavement so you can ride as much or as little as you want. An easier flat section goes to the South out of the parking lot. Take the paved path East to find a challenging climb. Once you get atop the climb, the trail follows the boundaries of the park and through a hollow, then back along side Massard road. New signage is being installed along this Great new addition to the Fort Smith area.
From Ft. Smith, take Hwy 255 (Zero street) East toward Barling to Ben Geren Park. Trail head is on the East side of the park and shares the parking lot with a disc Golf course.
